freedom of the press allows any individual or group to decimate their view point to the public. which means I can start my own newspaper/newsletter/radio show/tv show and express my viewpoint and my agenda.
EVERY form of PRESS has it's own agenda being pushed by the owner of that press. it's ALL biased, always has been and always will be.
rich people are outnumbered, they only get one vote. in order to be represented they have to persuade voters to take their side and they have to fund campaigns of officials that will be friendly to their cause.
as a poor voter you have to sift through all the messages you get from all the people that are trying to influence you.
