Warren Buffett, one of the most respected investors in the world, told Charlie Rose on PBS Wednesday night that the U.S. economy is "flat on the floor" after a cardiac arrest.

"In my adult lifetime I don't think I've ever seen people as fearful, economically, as they are now. The economy is going to be getting worse for a while," Buffett said.

these jobless claim numbers are baby numbers...we will be over 7% unemployment next year
