I'am a tight player to a certain extent. I will sneak an occasional bluff in here and there which seems to work very well if I have the attention of the other's at the table that I'am tight. If I'm playing at a 2-4 table I find that alot less people actually pay attention and read people, so I'm much better off playing at higher limits. prefer limit holdem over no limit. I love tournaments; I estimate that I'm in the money about 65% of the time either online or live while playing limit holdem.

it all depends on the situation....one shouldn't play tight all the time and one shouldn't play loose all the time....you have to find your spots, and when the opportunity strikes you have to make the decision right then....but if you sit and play tight all the time you will lose out on many opportunities...i play quite a bit and have the best success playing the way i described above...my wife has watched as many of you have as well at the bash last year...that panther and i split....one hand i'll throw out a hand and two hands later be dealt the same two cards and play them....know where you are at the table and try to follow how the players are playing....there are times when you have the best chance of winning but the river will kill you...take note of that while playing because if the same player tries it again...chances are this time around it won't hit but yet since he hit it that first time he will continue to try for blind luck....kind of like jacking off ...once you start it's hard to stop...that's what bluffing is all about....just my take...jeffksu
