So I order something from Best Buy last Thursday, it says in the order you receive it by 12/19 ( Yesterday )
so Yesterday morning I get an email saying we are sorry for the delay but your item will not get there on time.
The New Delivery date is 1/12/17 .. Well I Don't need it AFTER Christmas

anyway it tells me i can go to my account and Cancel the order if the new date isn't good.
So I go to my account, go to orders and Try to cancel it. But it won't allow me to.
I keep on trying, but nope can't cancel it.

So in the mean time I need the gift, so I find it somewhere else. I order it and they are shipping it within 2 days.
Will receive by the 22nd.

and of course Now I receive a New Email from Best Buy that they Shipped my Order ...

WTF ??

Now I have Two of the same coming.

They are so scrwed up at Best Buy ... and is one of the reasons I don't buy as much as i use to from there

I actually had a problem with them last Saturday where I had to go to 2 different stores b/c of their F up. I tweeted them 3x on Saturday and still haven't heard back.

Actually had another problem with them last xmas time regarding my tv delivery. Actually told the lady in Minnesota that she was "Scrooge" and she was ruining my kids xmas. Problem got resolved real fast

I've had issues with backorders with them the couple times I have ordered from them

I'll defend them because shit happens.

I haven't had any issues with them whether be online or in the store. Price match no problem, can you haggle price with them, sure thing.

Is it a hassle that you have to take the tv back, sure is. But if you call the manager of the store before you go in and explain the situation, they may come out and pick it up for you and make it right. All you have to do is ask.

They are huge, do a lot of volume and sometimes errors in stock count happen, but in the end, they will make it right if you allow them to and aren't a jerk about it.

As a disclosure, I have a large amount of stock in this company.

To the poster that used twitter, call their customer service phone line instead. If the person you speak to can't help you or you aren't satisfied with the result ask for the store manager or a way to reach the district manager. They will make it right.

Not the same but another good Best Buy story. So, my grandfatherinlaw is not very techy. He tried to order a new flat screen online. A 50" for like $800. He somehow ordered 6. He didnt know at the time. When he saw the email confirming the order, he called best buy to correct the issue. Which they did. # days later, 6 new TV delivered to the house. They only charged him for 1. This was 3-4 years ago, so hes in the clear now, lol. Everyone got new TVs for Christmas.

I think my being pissed off is I'm either going to get charged a Re-Stocking fee from one of them
I already received the one from Verizon ... still waiting on Best Buy

Just going to go to BB and show them the email's I received.
