Renee, is that you?
Renee Zellweger looked noticeably different when she hit the red carpet at ELLE's 21st annual Women In Hollywood Awards at the Four Seasons hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Oct. 20.
The 45-year-old Oscar winner's fresh-faced -- and remarkably wide-eyed -- look at the event left some fans scratching their heads and quickly led to online speculation that she may have had an eye lift or overused Botox or fillers. (Zellweger has never previously commented on reports that she's had work done.)
Zellweger had sported her trademark pursed-lip squint -- dubbed her "lemon face" by some -- for decades after she skyrocketed to face int he early '90s, but that's been changing in recent years.
When she took the stage at the 2013 Oscars, her line-free look and deer-in-the-headlights expression drew a rash of speculation on social media that she'd had some work done.
Other celebs noticed too, with "Modern Family" star Jesse Tyler Ferguson tweeting (and later deleting), "Renee Zellweger arrives as a Ghost of Christmas Future for Jennifer Lawrence, bearing warning about Botox."
