Were having diner at The Outback and the Saprissa Game is on (i have the TV to my back). They win by a goal and win the Cup or some shit.
My wife starts crying and is so happy. I ask her if she is ok? She tells me how important this win is to her (the normal stuff). I say cool and congratulate her. Then she starts to tell me how Saprissa won the last 4 years in a row and a million times before that. I'm thinking to myself BFD, I'm an Eagles fan. I haven't won a championship since 1960 and never a Super Bowl. I might cry if they won a SB after all these years...might.
So basically everyone backs a team that wins every year. A team that plays in Tibas. My wife is not from Tibas nor all the tools in The Outback screaming for them to win. I think to myself...no wonder the national team sucks. The CR leagues only have one decent team. What a shame.

I can't believe the amount of front running Ticos here and more importantly the lack of talent in this league. No wounder I always see Ticos in Yankees hats and Cowboy jerseys.
