We are all hating V. Tech tonight as I like many probably lost their ass on them last night to a Clemson team that was beat down the last month. V. Tech should be in the Independence Bowl after that pathetic display last night.

They didn't win their own conference, which was weak as hell this year.

They haven't beat a team ranked in the current top 25 all season.

The only team they've played in the current top 25 has beat them both times.

Clemson, the team that beat them by 20 and 28 points in the two head-to-head meetings this season, had lost 3 of their last 4 before dominating V. Tech.

I'd say that is a bad choice for a BCS game if I've ever seen one.

big 12 got fucked, kstate or baylor easily. toughest rated conference in from top to bottom in all of football and get 1 team in the bcs lol

Kansas State, Baylor & Arkansas were far better than Va Tech, Clemson & Michigan & West Va and they lost a lot of money not getting into the BCS Bowls. A great game that should get far better ratings than 2 of the BSC bowls will be the Cotton Bowl Arkansas vs. Kansas State, and everyone who is a college football fan isn't going to miss Baylor-Washinton after Robert Griffin wins the Heisman Trophy. Big winners are the Alamo Bowl & the Cotton Bowl.

Well , in all fairness though , if someone had told you before the season started that Boise St didnt win their conference would Boise fans expect to still go to a to a BCS bowl ?

Same for TCU , they would'nt have expected to go to a BCS bowl with 2 losses.

What sucks is that TCU beat Boise.
