Has anyone ever tried to marry the Golden Ratio to their handicapping?? lol,,, Most know I own a hair salon, so I use it virtually everyday, in coloring, cutting, and waxing (proportionate to ones face shape),,

so I was toying with the ability to marry the sequence to variances in OFF, and Def, ATS wins/losses, lol,,, I know Im wayyyyy in the outfield here, trying to put this together,, lol, but hey? maybe>?

has anyone tried this?

You can use it while trading charts. Not sure how you apply it to sportsbetting.

so each "data point" of seporation, you will use the sequencing,,,, instead of 5 singular data points of seporation,,, you use,,
1+0=1
1+1=2
2+1=3
3+2=5
5+3=8

for a totall of 17 points of seporation,,,
odd huh?<< its a different way of thinking,,, but once you set the agressive value for each data point, its only simple plug in math,,

cheers illini,,, hit me privately if you want to share any info,,

I'm not smart enough to do that shit. The way I bet sports is not mathematical at all. I just watch the games and bet what I like. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

do your fundamental analyst of a matchup first, then the technical to confirm. if both give the same results then 80% of the time it will work 100% of the time :)

good luck

lol,,,, I know its a different thinking process,,finding a way to attach the value that is consistant, and holds integrity is the most difficult, as you said Illini,, You get it with stocks,,, but how so with sports??<<

I guess its just a hit or miss thing,, we never GROW, unless challanged to think differently,, Once you stop thinking differently, you stop Growing/evolving,,

I just respect the oddsmakers. I don't quite think flat betting is the way to go, but almost. There is such a small margin between winning and losing a bet. I start with the assumption that the line is right and -EV most of the time. Mathematical guys beat sports, but it's all Greek to me. And I'm not even sure I believe half the shit that's out there. Fezzik says "my numbers guys say this total is 62.5 instead of 59." He's a former actuary, why does he need numbers guys? I dunno, maybe he's just a bullshitting tout. But he does seem sharp to me.

Sportsbetting to me is fun. I'm competitive and I want to win. I just try to keep it simple.

Yep, I know a guy who uses it. It is revolutionary. It brings about the phenomenon 'ganar sin parar'... but no one would ever believe it.

But I should add that it is not 'revolutionary'. It is simply nature expressed. And there you have it. Who would have ever thought the ultimate in sophistication comes back to the simplest of designs?

I'm not sure I believe that. If this guy is really doing that, then he is way smarter than anyone he could possibly try to explain it to. So I'm not sure you should buy it, because I'm sure it's way over your head. Or are you able to do it, too?
