So...I Was Talking To A Realtor Today

i am in the real estate business so to speak...i work for one of the largest publishers of real estate magazines in america...anyway i was talking to a lady today and she was ecstatic about one of the leads that she received of our website...it seems a guy in iran was searching our website and he called her and informed her that he was interested in 20 of her properties...

he is flying in this weekend to be shown the properties and pretty much told her he would be purchasing and that there were plenty more of his fellow businessmen also interested in properties in this area...he says houses are real cheap and he has no problems holding on to them until they go back up in value..an example of one he is looking at listed for 800k and it will be let go for 300k..

so this is what we have come too...people from foreign nations(and in this case the enemy) will be able to profit off our misfortunes with the economy and get very rich at the same time...

Nothing new here. When the country is in a recession those with capital come in to invest. They got the money and we don't. It's as simple as that.

it was the first thing to fall

that said don't be expecting a V shaped bounce in housing

its gonna stay down in the dumps for a while once it finds a bottom

I got lucky & got a 2br house with a 1 1/2 car gar 1 1/2 baths built in 1898 but the house is completely rebuilt new double pane windows nothing fancy but nice & everything on a city lot for 15K that the bank dumped because the Sherriff Dept confiscated it & they bought their own mortgage back for 30,000 so I got it more or less for 1/2 price...It sold in 06 for 72,000(way too high)...Taxes about 930 $ a year... The Co the bank gave it to to sell was ironically United Mortgage in Charlotte,NC area.

what we need is to get more LEGAL people with money into this country

not keep making it hard for legal immigrants to come and promote illegal immigration with a welfare society

we've been doing the complete opposite since 9/11

and if the current trend of commufascism continues and there is no major reform back towards fiscal conservatism as this doom and gloom evolves in america people like me will be leaving to go to some socialistic country where i at least don't at least have to deal with the fascist capitalism and super corruption in government garbage
