So I think it's cut and dry from day one who's going to win it all.

Who else come's close to 'Bama. It's all down to a science now so it seems. Bad ass recruits, Bad ass coach, Bad ass assistants, Bad ass ESPN publicity, it's finished and no one else comes even close to competing with these guys.

Good Luck to all that bet against them to win the National Title. Game to game you might be able to find a spot here and there where you're getting 50 or 60 points and barely cover the spread. But hey, this post was done in jest but based on what I've seen it's either 'Bama or nobody now. LSU lost, UCLA lost, Oklahoma lost, what now?

Alabama is clearly a "dynasty" at this point and time in college football history.

I genuinely can't think of one team in the land that can beat them with all the ingredients
you listed above. Harsh reality for the rest of us who root for different teams. :grandmais

I guess college football should "call it quits" for the year since we've already declared who the National Champion is or perhaps the NCAA could insist that the
University of Alabama be granted an NFL franchise so the rest of college football (and TV) could survive and live happily ever after.

Back-off a little guys; It's only week one and the "summer heat" is still with us. Things will eventually "cool-off".....it always does

Saban approaching 70 age range. He just might quit after this year. This is a team that no one will be able to stop. He want's Alabama to be in the same legacy of what Nebraska was in the the '90s.

Bama's obviously not going away. What makes them so strong is their insane depth and consistent size and speed throughout their depth charts. They're basically guaranteed a playoff spot each year as long as they don't have 2 losses. And even then, they still might make it.

On the other hand, USC continues its downward trend. They have been a terrible program ever since Carroll left. Just a horrible administration from the AD on down through the numerous coaching staffs they've shuffled through. And their current coach shouldn't even be a HC in the FBS, much less at a former powerhouse program.

And to make matters worse, Lynn Swann was hired to be their new AD.. a totally inexperienced and undeserving quota hire. Talk about a circus freak show, that program will be a disaster for a while to come.

Not one of Bama's teams could have ever beaten Nebraska of 94/95, nor is the comp as good as it was in the 80's/90's

They have no shot of being what Neb was

As a USC alum, I concur with your analysis 100%! The situation for USC football will get much worse before it gets better. Clay Helton was an emotional choice as was Lynn Swan.
Both individuals may be "good people," but they're not what the football program needs to get back into national prominence.

Looking at the 2016 schedule, I sincerely think the Trojans have a legitimate chance to finish a dismal 4-8. Disastrous. It'll be an absolute
miracle for them to go 6-6 or a wild 7-5. I just don't see it.

Helton is already on the hot seat with the alumni. Swan gave the guy a 5 year contract? face)(*^%

I think it's cut and dry as to who has the best team , BUT , best teams don't always win it all. ....especially now that it's decided on the field and not by human oppinion.

It's week 1 fellas....yes BAMA looked dominant and the front runner, but USC is far from what they've been in the past. They will struggle this year scoring points at least to start. Lots of football left.....

Ohio St has same formula as tide and personally like Meyer over Saban in a head to head matchup

So early yet..

But if you look at their schedule who will beat them? Maybe MISS but they are known to shot themselves in the foot time and time again year after year...so doubtful

LSU? Well... Maybe... but after yesterday, doubtful...

I see them running the table season wise at least...

I agree....LSU is still very talented and on any given Saturday can beat BAMA. That's how crazy college football can get. But, yes as of now very doubtful

I went to the UCF vs South Carolina St Game last night.... now S Carolina St plays Clemson

Let me call it...

100-0 - CLEMSON'S WALK ONS

hahaha

Ok, doubtful that score hits...but I almost cried watching these kids from S Carolina St. They played hard but they had zero talent losing to a really bad UCF team 38-0.

So... I will be curious to see what Clemson does... probably 70-0 with the foot off the gas...

Ohio st. Michigan or Wisconsin might have something to say about that. But Bama did look spectacular once they put Jalen Hurts "so good" in the game.:toast:

Yeah, there is zero chance Helton makes it past next season. He'll probably get next season regardless how bad USC does this year because his first full year will be considered a pass by their clueless administration.

The USC program is in big trouble and won't be competing for a playoff spot for at least 5 years at this point.
