good job. I had 289 last week. Fucking 9 pin.

bowling scoring is kind of funny getting 11 strikes and there is so many different scores you can get.

yea i thought the ball was nice, i normally bowl with an inverted curve (im right handed, make the bowl curve like im bowling lefty). I bowled a 213 my first game, and lost the $50 prize 229 to 226 with handicaps included (29 handicap to my 13). 2nd game started slow and a couple people around me had good games going so decided to just relax my arm and bowl normal. finished the game strong and just stayed with it third game, guy bowling on the other team started off strong too which helped me, and a guy a lane or 2 over finished with a 236 a few frames ahead of me

I did the same thing once, 10 pin in the 7th frame got me...

Congrats.

Me too.
At Clark Lanes on lanes 5 and 6, I threw twelve shots, all solid 1-3 pocket freight trains, opened up with X X (solid ten pin 9 spare in the third) then went X X X X X X X X X = 279.

My highest game is 286, but that was ugly, that was game two of the county Masters qualifiying, lane conditions were impossible, I was all over the place, had like three strikes in the pocket, three right through the nose I got lucky on, two on crossover Brooklyns, for a real ugly 286.

Nice shooting Kidman. :toast:
Did you break 700 for the series?

I missed a perfect game last night by 3 pins last night (or 65 depending how you look at it)

X 81 X X X X X X 9- XXX

But I won $60 for game/series side pots.

Guy lastnight had a 300 in the 1sr game. He went into the tank and imploded and did't even shoot 600 for the night. I have never seen that. This guy is a 210 bowler so its not like he got lucky.

I saw a guy years back get the 1st 11 and on the last shot was so nervous he threw it on all the way onto a different alley. LOL

I suck at bowling, but have a few friends who were great bowlers in the day and each of them have like 30 plus 300's in their lives ( according to them), and they claim that bowling now is far more eay than it was say about 10 years ago. Is this indeed the case?

bill, i think i ended up at 688 or so, i really didnt try in the second game when i saw some people with huge handicaps coming out way above their avg. I have broken 700 before by a few pins, it was something like 244, 242, and 217.

my team went from 1st place to 9th out of 14 between the last 2 sessions with the same team. doesnt help that my lowest game this yr is 3 pins less than the next highest avg on my team

im really only competitive in bowling when im doing like an individual tournament or im bowling for cash, maybe if i was on a team that was overall better bowlers id be more into it, but some times lose lack of interest when a teammate bowls a 72 or so

They don't call him 'dead eye' for nothing.
Williams is multiple time world champion in horseshoes, great guy in real life also.
