1 of my best friends lives there. The amount of $ both sides spent was the most ever for a house race.

Volunteers going door to door 2 or 3 times each, commercials on every single radio/tv station for 2 months straight. Hopefully that isn't the future of politics. That's brutal. My friend actually said his sister wasn't gonna vote and then she voted for Handel because of how relentless Ossoff's people were, came to her door 3x in a week.

PredictIt was always around 50/50 range for odds fwiw.

Ossoff was like a Obama in '08, if you know nothing about policy or politics then you think he sounds reasonable even if you aren't a fan of his party affiliation. Probably the type of candidate that would do a lot better pre-internet where people couldn't easily see what a candidate was about. He had every little platitude ready to go.
