I'm sure many players/teams do not care this time of the year. Factor that in and forget the chalk. Bases betting has slowed tremendously for this reason.

I'm ready for the playoffs just to feel the pressure on the fans. Last year was fun with the Sox and Cubs.

I don't think you can hold it against players for not trying at this time of year because there are some sacks of sh** that don't try right from Spring Training. Carlos Delgado is a prime example. His defence sucks, his hitting has been mediocre and the way he shuffles his lazy ass down the first base line is enough to make me puke. $17 million a year! I think I will go puke now....
