I feel like everyone is just betting against Cinci's ATS streak thinking it will be broken....risky way to gamble.

That's like thinking the next game of whichever team will go under after going over 8 in a row... not any way of gambling

Exactly. Chasing isn't the way to go. I don't have a side in this one yet, but I can't see myself putting cash on the Texans here.

Right. Tell that to the cowboy backers. They can't lose 7 in a row right.

Guess what.... They just lost 7 in a row for the first time in years....!

I conquer... hard to lay money on the Texans. I did so once this year and lost. I have a small wager on Houston, only because its a divisional game and they tend to stay tight. Maybe I am missing something but I can't see Cinci win this easily. I am a degenerate so only doing so for action.
Anyways, Maybe the total is the better way to go in this one.

everyone betting against a streak is as dumb as a door knob IMO. Either I play cincy or sit out.

I live by this saying...

When you bet on a streak, you can win multiple times. When you bet against a streak, you can only win ONCE!

Texans and Cin not in the same division. They were once upon a time, the Oilers and Bengals were in the AFC Central along with Pit and Cle. Those were the good days.

If you feel so strongly about Cincy, then bet them! Who cares what anyone, including touts, put out? Are you that easily swayed or influenced?

The fact of the matter is 60% of public money is on Cincy, yet there's some serious REVERSE LINE MOVEMENT.

I'll side with THE HOUSE on this one. You can side with the PUBLIC! :)!/

Jay, these teams are not in the same division, & I understand your logic if they were......like the Lions off a bye & playing the Packers.

Inc......how about that serious reverse line movement that emptied a lot of pickets with the Titans yesterday?

I understand what you mean about RLM......but its 50/50 at best this year IMO.......

Do you have reading comprehension skills or are you just slightly slow? Where did I say I felt strongly about Cincy? Where did I say I was easily influenced. In fact I said I have no dog in this race, I just find it odd that the forums and touts are heavy on one side. I said nothing about the public. And if you are calling reverse line movement when the percentages are only 60-40, that's not very strong. As well, the house cleaned up yesterday so if you are going with "the house", they tend to give one back every once in a while.

My reading comprehension skills are fine, thanks. Who says I was referring to YOU! That's an assumption on your part.

I was using the word "you" in the pejorative sense to mean anyone who's reading the comment.

Please stop be so self centered. The universe doesn't revolve around you!

The percentages say the public money is on Cincy 60-40. The line is dropping. That's REVERSE LINE MOVEMENT, strong or not!

Good luck to you!

Only 2 games covered yesterday, and 1 points matter. 10 dogg winners!!! Only 2 overs on MNF. Cin. must cover and possibly over the #.

Gamblers fallacy i.e. "The coin landed heads the last three times so it has to land tails now." You'd be surprised how many so called expert touts still believe this is true (goes for the public too). Just silly.

As far as line movement goes - I've heard from a few good cappers (not sure how true this is) that most of the late line movement comes from the public anyways. Especially the bulk of the rec guys just getting off work and trying to chase the games they've lost during Sunday betting at 5-7 whenever they get home. A very small percentage actually comes from winning cappers. This is all heresay, I'm not sure if it's true, but both guys who have told me this I respect quite a bit. It seems to make a lot of sense.

This opinion ^ might not be popular to a lot of the people who bet on reverse line movement but it's something I've thought about a lot. It's all just opinion, nobody really has it for fact.
