Ha. I hope this turns into an argument about the merits of whole life insurance. Always seems to be a controversial subject. I fall in the category that purchases cheap term and tries to invest as much as possible with all other income.

And, of course, everyone should have a will (and not rely on some free or cheap website service to create one). A simple will drafted by an attorney is pretty darn cheap. Also, the most common problem people run into that actually have a will is that they pass away and no family member actually knows where it is (which is equivalent to dying without one).
