So anybody think Canseco is speaking about Rickey Henderson being the HOF'er?

Jose Canseco, whose 2005 book arguably started the cascade of revelations and an investigation into the use of performance-enhancing drugs in baseball, barely raised an eyebrow when he was told David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez are reportedly on the list of 104 players who tested positive in 2003.

"When you tell me something I didn't already know, I'll be surprised,'' Canseco told ESPN. "And I'll tell you this, Major League Baseball is going to have a big, big problem on their hands when they find out they have a Hall of Famer who's used."

Ripken Makes As Much Sense As Anyone

Could acct. for the incredible longevity.?? Nothing surprises me anymore, the one name I hope I NEVER see is Jr.! After listening to M&M today re. Popi, his stats w/us (Twins) vs his next 5 yrs or so, the change is dramatic. He went from being the 6th power man on the Twins to #3 in the AL!! So sick of this crap.:>(

I just heard an interview with Canseco where he said he had no knowledge of Henderson using steroids.

Is he referring to the list? Ripken retired in 2002 I believe while the list is for 2003.

Ripken makes the most sense. It would be alot easier to play all those games consecutively on steroids.

Eck IMO...

I'm for this one, but of course Rickey-B-Biased.

Relief pitchers who go on consecutive days, get a tremendous benefit from the recovery boost provided by steroids.

I'm a Yankee fan, and if it turned out Mariano took some "medicine", I would not blink an eye.

I'm pretty sure Papelbon is revved up...he reminds me a lot of John Rocker.

And no one is saying that the person is a part of the 2003 testing. Canseco is saying he has knowledge of a juicer in the hall.

Eckersley it is.

Oh yeah, and Rickey-B- pretty jacked, all sculpted and shit. Look like a body builder, so the timing of the Canseco comment could be damming.
