I copied the parts of the OP I wanted to highlight. If I understand correctly, this company you want to stop by and update on his death is the same company that fired him and influenced his suicide? If that is the case - tread carefully. Is there an underlying sub-agenda to show mgmt what could happen when they fire people with dependent families? If so, I get it.. but you will be making lots of people uncomfortable. If I have misread this... apologies in advance. RIP to your friend.
exactly...you are a smart man...That was my reason for being hesitant and my statement about how management would react...I personally do not think in any way that they are at fault...They own a business and they have to do what they have to do...People must remember that they gave him a job a year ago when he also had nothing....But that was what i was trying to say, that if i told employees that some of them may turn it against management...
I gave him some work around my house for cash money, whenever i could and looking back now maybe i shouldn't have paid him until he was completely finished(joking)...But that is how i found out,his brother called me to let me know he would not be finishing my work...
What i will do is ask his brother what i should do,as far as telling where he used to work about his death...His brother does not know where he worked, just that he was a maintenance man at apt complex...
thanks to everyone...
