We're at nearly 9:00 CST and barely into the 2nd quarter.
So far we've had 37 flags and a 10 minute official review that reversed a catch for the Bears that may qualify for the worst reversal of a catch since the infamous Calvin Johnson call.
49ers were holding ALLL game.. what the fuck were y'all watching? Even the D line got caught holding and you NEVER see that called. Face it, the NFC West has been getting away with this for too long.. needs to be put to sleep finally. Refs did an excellent job except for the play clock. I don't know what they were watching because I saw about 4 delay of games(including 49ers first touchdown to Crabtree) that they failed to call.
Bears O line held all game too and it wasnt called.
Funny thing was, these a-holes hardly called any offensive holding penalties because they are all watching for fukking defensive holding and illegal contact!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't care what people tell you.... the point of emphasis was put in to stop these NFC west teams from dominating this league. Look at the last 3 years. Who has dominated this sport? They put the emphasis in to make sure that changes. That is why they look for defensive illegial contact on SF and not offensive holding on Chi. It's called "Parity". People wanna say I'm wrong, well find me a reason why they changed the rules then.
I think that they threw so many flags in the first half that it sapped the life right out of the Niners and home crowd. I've seen that story unfold so many times where they jump on someone 28-0 like Dallas last week and it's game over with all that momentum. Not tonight.
I also can't believe how much better the Bears tackled compared to last week, incredible. Still struggled with the read option and Kap getting the edge but all teams do to some degree.
