I just saw it, I thought of Jones for some reason right away. nice question....I remember the year Jones went nuts in the mid 70's maybe 76, he was on the cover of my SI , he was like 17-1 or something crazy while pitching for SD, he was on pace for 30....slumped off pretty bad after that.
