Just one of those days, man. Just one of those days. Unfortunately, for you, me, and the other everyday bettors out there, these unavoidable days are just inevitably part of the grind. Luckily for you, you have the luxury of having a truly excellent record no matter what took place today, so all you need to do when approaching tomorrow's game is go into it with the mindset where you look at your record and see you can easily afford days like these, which is beyond your control (Fluke bad breaks are not our fault as a bettor), and recognize that you're still dominating 2012.

Go into tomorrow's slate with a steady head, realize these days happen, and just think positive since, after all, your record is still outstanding, and that's the bottom line at the end of the day. It's an approach I utilized last year (My one great year, apparently, similar to the magnificent one you're enjoying this year), in that if you play defense and just minimize the damage and not let it snowball past today, you'll be in great shape. GL, think positive, and I know you'll be fine tomorrow.

I have the upmost respect for someone with the record of your caliber, no matter what department of sports gambling it is. I lived through it one year and clearly recognized the incredible, incredible amount of hard work and difficulty it takes to maintain that. You will keep it up, just stay positive for tomorrow. Upmost respect to you, man :103631605

Thanks Cat. I appreciate it. So frustrated today with stuff out of my control. Nobody who took the Mets went into that bet saying "gee I think Dickey will get lit up for 11 hits and 5 runs but I'll still take the Mets" no way. It was a 2 out blown save too. Just needed one more out..uggg. I know you know that feeling all to well Cat. I should have left today alone since I had that feeling all day. Thank god ATL won as my 2 unit play. Helped a little. I realize bad days happen and I finish around 60% every year in MLB. Actually finished NCAA tourney and NBA in the 60%'s as well this year, but its not the wins we remember, it the losses. Esp. the ones you had won until the rug got pulled.
FYI MP, I dont feel bad cause the Mets never should have won, forget trying to cover -1.5. Beside, you are still a jinx ;)

60-percent every year in baseball??? Like I said, you have my upmost respect (Basketball, too? Damn, I felt like this was the toughest most unpredictable year for basketball in many years). 57.5% for me last year was the greatest personal accomplishment of my life, so the fact that you exceed that every year makes me feel rather humbled lol. You should be getting paid for your picks then, I would bet you are certainly better than most of the people out there who do somehow get paid for them.

And yes, two-out betting losses, whether they be in moneylines, runlines, or over/unders, are the WORST. Ugh, luckily I haven't been stung by one of those in a week, but when it does happen, all you can do is just try to step back from it, take a deep breath, and put it behind you as soon as possible, especially in an instance where you were supposed to win. Phillies had that won, especially when it's a guy like Papelbon closing it out.

But hey, at least it's not as bad as my most recent one when 5-foot-7, 140-pound Alexei Amarista hit his first career homerun, a grand slam, with two-outs in the ninth inning off Brett Myers - following an error in the inning - when the Padres had previously lost 112 straight games when trailing entering the ninth inning, thus ruining an under that was 3-1 into the 9th. So yeah, could be worse :smoking:
