Attention all Skybook Sportsbook NBA BEST BET Cappers. In light of the small 3 game schedule on Thursday (2 games that have lines), I am going to invoke "the you can pass if you want" ruling AGAIN -that we used twice before under similar circumstances. You can play a BEST BET from the schedule or pass. I do not want to force anyone to choose from a schedule this small. For future reference: 3 or less games will be the minimum amount of games needed to invoke this ruling again. Remember play if you have a BEST BET or POST A PASS TODAY reply if you do not. Jack of Hearts will have official standings up in the morning.

Thanks to everyone who contributed. Wil.

Clearly biased since I believe I'm now the sole person in 2nd with a streak of 6, but...

Am I missing something here? If Augustus lets it ride one more day, he's guaranteed a little extra money. The prize amount increases from $100 to $250 next. He could pick any game and lay off $150+vig elsewhere on the opposite side.
In fact, since the contest lines don't change, might even find a middle somewhere. Unless I'm missing something here, it's guaranteed extra money (since no one else is tied with him).

I think if the winner wants to claim the prize, we all have to start over.

Wilheim,

I had changed my mind and decided to play for the next available prize.

Actually, if it was me, I would hedge less than $150 here (say around $85 to $90). That way, you could hedge again the next day, and the next, and so on til the 10th day. Each day you just double your hedge (+ a little bit more) to make up for lost money from previous hedges. Since the prize money doubles each day from here on out, you can keep increasing your guaranteed winnings, and add the chance for a middle for 3 more days. And you don't tick off anyone else who may also be on a long streak.
