There is no telling what kinds of numbers I can put up over the course of the season. As you know, gamblers are prone to get <hot> or <cold> at any time, regardless of their information. There was in fact a period of time when I as dubbed "America's Sharpest Player" by a well known and well respected source. As I have repeatedly indicated to this Forum and in various interviews, the identity of the authority is highly confidential as are any of the details regarding the award judging. I am willing to have my status confirmed by email should anyone question the veracity of my previous achievements.
Regarding the contests, I am fortunate and thankful not only that they exist, but also that I am permitted to play in them. Granted, I do not have access to the same information that I had in years past. I have taken disabled the vast majority of my telegraph interception equipment, I no longer employ scouts (either domestically or internationally), and I only subscribe to 3 newspapers whereas I used to subscribe to over 300 newspapers. No, I did not read each and every paper, but my staff did. I still retain the ability to streamline some game breaking information, but the quality of my information is not what it used to be. I recently accquired poster profiling software that has radically improved my chances of success in contests. Only a few posters (mostly professional posters) have knowledge of the software and can make the types of human judgments necessary for the matrices to work. The only poster that I have come across who has this skill is none other than jjgold.
As many people are aware, I lost Head 2 Head Challenges against seaurchin and dennistheman. Both of these guys are very sharp. I would have won the dennistheman contest (I think) if I were able to generate an accurate profile of him. However, my program crashed when I inputted his data...call it a "gliche in the software."
