SirBet won't write me a check for payout

I went online and requested a payout on January 4th for $2135. I received an e-mail saying their bank is not processing checks at this time. What kind of business doesn't process checks? I made my original deposit with a bank check and sent it via Fed-ex. They want me to receive my money via Western Union. I don't use Western Union for security reasons. I called customer service and they said call back tomorrow and talk to accounting. I will keep you updated.

Well W.U. would be a concern if you had to eat the expense? I would try for Neteller...Much cheaper and just about as good as a check..

neteller is better than a check. although, it is rather odd that they wont cut a check if requested to do so.

I agree Blue, Neteller is better (with the reduced fee this way) Some would rather knock out one less step though...

Just one more reason SirBet is a shit book. Neteller might be the best way to go but if Crandell wants a check, then SirBet should cut him a check. The Western Union fees on that payout would be too high. A bank wire is another good option but there really isn't any good reason why they can't send him a check.

Fish,

Western Union is a concern because it is my understanding that the Federal government is requiring them to be on the look out for money being sent to and from off-shore books. The Feds. are looking for terrorist money being laundered and I am not interested in being on any Fed. list just because I like to bet on football. I have always used cashier's checks and have been happy with this type of transaction.

Crandell hopefully tomorrow's conversation will solve this problem. Not making excuses, but I know some of the Banks in Curacao have some extended holidays, similar to Costa Rica. Perhaps banking will be back to normal when you call Sirbet tomorrow. Anyway BOL. please keep us advised and feel free to contact any Mod by EM if you need help.

I sent them a stern e-mail last night and this morning they replied that they would send a check. Thank you guys for you support. I know Corby Miller tunes in to the RX and maybe he got the ball rolling. Maybe all it takes is a little bitching. Any way I will be looking for my money and if it doesn't arrive we will start the bitching again.

Thanks

Weird. I've never had any problems whatsoever with Sirbet. Corby's always been quick to take care of any requests that I might have ....

like that one time I wanted Ken's passwo ...

doh, I forget I was explicitly told "this never happened". My bad.

In all seriousness, Sirbet has been a great out for me over the past year.
