This afternoon the Winston Cup teams visit New York and take on the Road course at Watkins Glen. Each player has picked a driver and needs to see that driver finish in the top 13 today for a chance at $1500 in prize money from www.sirbet.com .

6 players remain in competition and have the following drivers.

Thunder - Jeff Gordon

Augustus - Dale Earnhardt Jr.

sidingman - Jeff Gordon

MondoMan - Jeff Gordon

Cecil - Mark Martin

That kind of sucks, I like watching these types of races.(never thought I'd hear myself say that about NASCAR!

) Did you see that Kenseth and Earnhardt were both 30-1 (now lower) and they are now both starting 6th & 7th, which is huge in a road race. Now that's value!

Interesting, I see em at 4/1. As for the rain, I think we should have rain tires, especially for the road races.

NM. 18 & 20 to 1. The 4/1 was to finish in top 3.

At Carib, Earnhardt is now down to 20-1, and Kenseth is 25-1. They were still 30-1 the same night after they qualified high, which is unusual because most books will take the odds down while qualifying is going on. Their odds now are still a bargain I think.

Wow, how exciting!
I can't tell you how nervous I was when Martin was in 29th. I can't imagine how nervous Vin was with Stewart pitting so late.

I really don't know how Stewart made up so much ground in the last few laps. I was ready to turn off the tv and all of a sudden he was moving up one or two places each lap!

Very tough luck for the Gordon backers. That's a lousy way to get knocked out!
