Lucky winner: Ms Holmes said that she scared her children, one of whom has cerebral palsy, when she began screaming that they 'didn't have to struggle anymore'.

Currently unemployed, she said that she was heading to Raleigh, North Carolina, to speak with lawyers and financial advisers.

That's true. it's a requirement in most states that you have to reveal your identity. I think Maryland and maybe Missouri if I remember right are two of only a handful of states where you can keep your identity secret.
