Singer, songwriter, public exhibitionist George Michael offered his support for Pittsburgh's sausage slugging Randall Simon. "I would hate for this poor man to receive the same thrashing from the media that I undeservingly received."
Michael referred to the unfortunate 1998 incident involving the singer in a public restroom.
"We all have our demons inside who attack our will power and invite us to act on impulse." Continued Michael, "Whether it is beating our sausage in public, stalking young men in the courtyards or dressing up like the Queen. Demons are always at our coattails."
Mr. Michaels was eventually set straight concerning the details of the Simon incident. "This is not the first time George has been misinformed when stepping up publicly." Explained Publicist Kip Morell. "Back in December of 2001 Mr. Michaels offered his public support to Andrew Ridgely (the other guy in Wham) who had reportedly been seen lurking in a Men's Room in London. Later it was discovered that he was not loitering, but actually the restroom attendant."
