Football sides are good as long as the game makes it to halftime. For totals the game has to be completed.

For the KC/GB game the total bet was voided but the game bet was good. This is the only place that I know of that the game doesn't have to go 55 minutes.

General: yes. I first found out about this stupid ****ing rule before I was booted from SIA last year for winning 'too much' (as so many have), when I got screwed in the ass on that Wisconsin game in Vegas. I couldn't believe they didn't have the standard 55 minute rule, but these asswipes do list their stupid, turd-burgling rule clearly in their rules - as long as the 2nd half starts, the bet stands.

F-U-C-K that rule! I know it can work out for you but WHY on earth deviate like that from standard rules???

Did they actually have that rule posted on the day of the event? They are known for putting up the rules after the fact, they are just common crooks.

Wow. I guess as long as the rule is posted up front, then Ok, but I do not see how anyone could say that GB couldn't cover that wager with 20 mins of football left.

For every good post about this book (SIA), there are 5 negative posts.

For BoDog it runs about 4 to 1 negative!

Weasel: yes, they did - but of course like a moron I assumed the rule was standard. Naturally those on the other side were very, very happy.

Here's their rules - I remember when I posted about the Whiskey fiasco last year at another site, some laffed and said 'big deal, won't happen again' - yeah, right ... notice football isn't the only sport they have a non-standard rule on ... yet for other sports, they DO have a 5-minute rule - what a ****ed-up rule!!!

Individual Sports Rules

Unless otherwise specified, if an event does not play to its conclusion, results are considered official after the completion of:

American Football: Half-time
Over/under bets: Full-time (including overtime)

Basketball: Half-time
Over/under bets: Full-time (including overtime)

Hockey: Second period
Over/under bets: Full-time (including overtime)

Baseball: Losing team's 5th inning
Runline/total run bets: 9 innings

Boxing: When the bell is sounded signifying the start of the opening round.

Other sports: All other sports that involve a scheduled length of play or time limit must play to their conclusion or have five minutes or less of the scheduled playing time remaining when the contest concludes to be considered official for betting purposes.

Jazz, can you give me a sense of how much is "too much" to win at SIA?

From mine and others' posted experiences, in the range of $10-20K, depending on whether their manager was hung over I suppose. Not sure what the magic number is these days.

10-20k is not much at all since many bettors win that on one NFL Sunday. This SHIT book needs to be avoided. Send your money to legitimate sportbooks. The off-shore industry will be better off!

Chuck, a lot of bettors don't bet that kind of money. Also, if you know what you're doing, you cannot fail to cash - even if their CS is the worst in the world, I'd put up with it again to have a shot at their numbers, I must admit.

Never had a problem with SIA. Though I don't bet alot of money per game. Everytime I withdrew money i was paid within their limit of 2 days.

I play with them and I'm not a big-time bettor either. Always got paid on NT the next day. Their CS is a bit better now than they used to be. Still not the greatest. Although there's a problem with their server being slow during NFL games. Tough to get a quick play in right before a game at times.

They're good to have as a secondary book because of the lines favoring the dogs a lot of times. Wouldn't use them as my primary book though.

I am going to say this once, and am not going to follow-up with any further explanation on my comment (Pancho knows why): SIA's extreme usefulness lies in the land of middles and sides.
