I signed up for SIA (Sports Interaction) with an RX promo before the football season. Never had an account there before. I checked out the deposit/withdrawal methods first, and saw several free methods (including eCheck) for deposits and withdrawals. You can see the alleged methods here
Now of course I was able to DEPOSIT for free with eCheck and take advantage of the promotions.
But now that I want to WITHDRAW some winnings, I notice that the only method available to me is regular check, which costs between $25 and $40.
I initiated a chat with the Customer Service and was told that eCheck withdrawals have not been available for MONTHS due to a circumstance "beyond the control" of SIA. And therefore there is NO METHOD for withdrawing money from SIA without incurring a fee. 100% contrary to what I understood from reading the Customer Service/help page.
Just wanted someone around here to hear about this dishonest practice! I will be pulling my money out of SIA ASAP.

Kristin: Hi jeckll, how can I help you today?
jeckll: Hi, I am attempting to withdraw a bit of money from my account but am not seeing any options to withdraw other than Check
jeckll: I saw on the FAQ page that an eCheck withdrawal would be available but it isn't
Kristin: The Echeck withdrawal option, unfortunately, has been unavailable for a few months now due to an issue beyond our control. We are hoping for it to return as an option, but at this time, there is no guarantee.
jeckll: So the only option available is regular Check? And there is a fee associated with it?
Kristin: Correct. For check withdrawals, you can select Courier, which has a $40 fee, or US priority mail, which has a fee of $25, unless it is the first withdrawal for the calendar month by any method; in which case, the fee is discounted to $15.
jeckll: So I signed up and deposited with SIA after reading that there were NO FEE withdrawal and deposit methods available.
jeckll: But now you are telling me there are NOT ANY NO FEE withdrawal methods available and I have to PAY to withdraw money?
Kristin: Unfortunately, yes. The free option via Echeck has not been available for a few months now as I previously stated.
jeckll: What a dishonest practice!
jeckll: I will be withdrawing the entirety of my account ASAP and will not be playing with SIA anymore.
Kristin: I do apologize for this inconvenience, jeckll.
Kristin: Rest assure that we do hope for this option to return, but at this time, I do not have any further information on this option.
Kristin: Is there anything else I can help you with?
jeckll: That's ridiculous and wholly unacceptable
Kristin: I am very sorry if you feel we have been dishonest, jeckll.
jeckll: I'm sure you do.
