Royal's stuanchest supporters (which obviously doesn't include you

) agree there is turmoil. I might have missed any recent comments you made because I've been hanging out on Peeps forum

.

Is this one of those all players have been paid so they stay on the list (but any one with a brain read between the lines) deal?

Despite the fact that Royal is an advertisor on this site, with all of the changes taking place at Royal lately, as well as another deal on the table involving a group of investors out of Canada who are interesting in purchasing Royal, I would have to advise gamblers to tread carefully at this time...

However, it still needs to be stressed that there are no reports of any slow pays or no pays involving gamblers during this hectic time...

I talked to a square friend of mine who has an account at royal, he said that the neteller account is currently empty and they are saying it will be filled monday.
No disrespect Shrink but this is somewhat different to what you said a few days ago about the safety of Royal.

Thanks Shrink...

Lurker, Shrink has been lets say guarded for a while on them as Fat Frank recently pointed out.

The Dutch have complained a long time about how Royal was run. I'd like to see them belly up with the money and put in their own management. Lats see what they got or if they are just good whinners.

That answer by Shrink is about as honest of one that you're going to get out of anyone who is cashing the advertising checks.

Isn't the main concer by players is getting paid? I haven't heard of one slow pay by Royal to this date. Does the player really need to be concerned what goes on internally with a company as long as payouts aren't a problem?

Boston,
Not speaking of Royal in particular but YES I think it is important to know when a management team has left and the owners are fighting. By the time you find out they are in a slow/no pay mode, its too late to get your money.

Buzzsaw,

Good answer. The big thing in Royal's favor as well as with all Sportsbooks who have weathered the storm to date is that Football is right around the corner. Please inform us of your visit to Royal. There are many of us who place great value on your opinions. It does seem a bit harsh however to list them as a RUN book at this time. It would seem Run Books should be reserved for NO or SLOW PAY books.

Boston / Buzzsaw:

While the last two football years have been wonderful for books, there in NO GUARANTEE books will make a killing this year, or any year for that matter.

People would be wise to remember this.

My advise is to always bet with the financially strongest stores possible.

If they are having $$$ problems, the influx of foots post ups may buy them some time. There were a LOT of rumors of them having serious cash problems last summer also....but this is probably a bit more serious given the mass resignations & the fact that they are actively seeking a buyer.

Shrink-As much I may bust balls, it's only fair to give credit where credit is due.

Boston,
As one of Royal's early supporters it was with much regret to see them downgraded to the point they are now. The recent management departures also dried up our information sources. We had actually talked to them recently about the Recommended List when the sale to Olympic was finalized.

SBR referred over a 100 players there and we just wanted to be clear to protect those players.

I hope if Royal is following these threads at all that they get the message that decisive business actions are needed immediately. It's the Dutch's turn now and so far they seem caught frozen in the headlights.
