IN light of your failure to confirm the Panam $500k bond, it is only prudent to ask you to confirm the Bodog reserve account. The hyping similarities between Panam and bodog and their relationship to the Rx are cause for bettor concern.

On Dec. 3rd, 2003 You posted:

[q]Swiss Account...$7 plus Million and climbing, player balances $4.8 M as of today. They also have another $3 plus million in operating cash in other international accounts ($10.6 M in total cash as of last week) and have 0 debt and are very profitable.[/q]

Bodog posts on their website:

BoDog, takes pride in being federally licensed by the Costa Rican government, and confidently holds 100% of all deposits plus winnings for all players in a segregated reserve account with Europe's largest Private Bank in Zurich, Switzerland.

Bodog has also posted on stings site several months ago they were in the process of setting up a verifiable escrow account.

-I ask you, since you have taken to represent them on this forum, and post their infomercials on your home page, what is the status of the segregated account? Is there any oustside verification that it exists?

-Is there or isn't there an escrow account?

-Bodog is claiming handle equaling sportingbet 1 bil+ and better than twice Canbets 500mil+, both publicly traded and reporting companies. However, by their own admission bodog is doing it with just a fraction of the postup funds of sbt and canbet, who report customer postups at $10mil to $20mil, while Bodog reports postup funds of $4.8mil. Since bodog limits are much lower than the other 2 companies, isn't it fraudulent for them to be reporting such high handle without substantiation?

- This from their website:

BoDog Sportsbook & Casino (Est. 1995)

By my count they've been in business for 3 years. Does it concern you this book appears disengenuous about so many issues?

Your site has taken it upon themselves to champion bodog with a passion equaling that of Panam. I think its only fair to ask for some real facts.

Thanks in advance.

BIGMO - or is it Megladon? Anyway, I am not sure if Shrink is around right now, but I will post this in the board room for him to see.

Good sleuthing, lol, I never made it any secret I posted here on occasion since 1999 as megladon (a cursory review of my posts shows I already confirmed it). Recently shrink called me out on bodog so I signed on as BigMo.

Now why don't you take those excellent investigative skills and find out about the bodog segregated account, and their excessive claims about handle etc..

But you'd rather attack the messenger. Anyone wonder why there are so few longterm posters here?

Very reasonable request under the circumstances and if it is true I am sure bodog and everyone would welcome independent verification of this

While they very well might have the Swiss account in place, I highly doubt that it's earmarked for the players in the event that Cole and the boys BoDog it out of Costa Rica.

I highly doubt it as well. Why the hell should these books actually earmark a reserve fund for the PLAYERS when all they need do at crunch time is fold up the tents and run? That fund is probably earmarked to pay debts to the government and debts they'd BETTER not miss paying. It has been proven that all the words in the world posted on gambling sites are without meaning without 100% iron-clad verifiable proof.

Don't ask me to believe you any more - simply show incontrovertible proof or I'll simply assume you are lying through your teeth. That's addressed to books in general. You don't like my attitude? I know how you feel - I don't like the way some books have been doing business, either, so you'd better prove what you say from here on out. Can't prove it? Then it's simply not true.

I have a good suggestion for starters...

Go to one of Bodog's competitors that is considered an "A" book...

Talk with someone HIGH UP in WWTS (Billy, Jessica, Simon) or OLYMPIC (Spiros)...

They KNOW the TRUTH about BODOG...

If, indeed, as Big Mo claims:

"On Dec. 3rd, 2003 You posted:

then I have a better suggestion. Why don't YOU back up YOUR claim and stop asking us players to try & get Spiros, etc on the phone?

How many people were positive about BetPanAm? Olympic even did transfers with them; I doubt they even do them with bodog.

How about books quit lying about these bonds and either set up something legit or market themselves without lies.

This site can't tell you anything you can't find out yourself.

Proof, actual numbers, and bank accounts are never shown. We will hear "trust me"s or "I have a personal stake in this". What comes along often is "deep pockets".

What does that amount to?....
A failure rate which is probably higher than the industry OVERALL.

You have Russ losing 40k of his own money and Ken saying he screwed his family member by sending them to a book. When we go down in battle the "watchdogs" claim they are going down with us.

IMO, Its like asking a tout who pick 46% for plays. Whats the point?

Are you daring them to lose and drop to 45%??? They keep making cash as they take your funds and get tongue lashings. At what point are they not an authority?

I play with BoDog but I wouldn't assume anything unless I saw it myself. If theRX wants to help show us then that would be cool.

Maybe the bond was traded to the CAMBODIANS for the safe return of their fearless leader who according to STINGY was kidnapped by them on his 911 site, what a frekkin' joke.

Great post Jazz!

This is the same type of listen to the hype crap that continues to lead players stiffed OVER and OVER again. All these bookies stick together. Every book that goes broke has buddies at another book saying the old "stand up guy routine" Gimme a break!

quote:
They KNOW the TRUTH about BODOG..."

That they stole all there customers from Mayan when they opened 3 years ago? (1995 my ass)
That they stiffed MW, and Madjacks?
That they stiffed Survivor bettors, and always seem to make there own rules during a dispute?
That they made up this escrow account thing?

What is the truth I am missing?

I am sure the "higher ups" at WWTS, Oly, etc would absolutely LOVE to field phone calls all day from random posters and lurkers of the RX in regards to the financial stability of one of their competitors

Anyone have spiros home number so I can give him a call later to ask?
