Two comments...
1. It never fails to make me laugh when I read postgame comments from teams and fans that just got beat by the Pistons. Inevitably, you hear comments like "We just played a poor game" or "We just didn't have our normal energy". No, you're wrong - you played your normal game - you just played it with a constant hand in your face for a change. Think back on how many uncontested shots the Lakers have had this series. You can probably count them on one hand. You get that many open looks in 5 minutes in a Dal/Sac game.
2. Why does everyone blame injuries when their team loses? Injuries are a part of the game. You HAVE to plan for them, because EVERY team suffers them sooner or later, ESPECIALLY those teams with aging superstars! The Pistons, with their incredibly deep bench, have done just that. Remember, Sheed has been nursing an incredibly painful foot injury the entire playoffs which has severely limited his minutes in several games. When he comes out, you barely notice a drop off.
