Between ESPN and other outlets, you would think that the Women's Tournament is bigger than the men's tournament.

It's just inferior basketball and to see constant reminders via the side screen, the scroller, the chat during the Men's coverage is pure insanity.

Today alone you have a 55.5, 27.5, 28.5, 36, 35.5 and a couple more 20 pt favorites.

Who's going to want this clown show.

Nothing against the women players but the sports aren't equal in any measure.

One last thing Clark took 4 years and a three point line to beat Pistol Pete's mark which he did in three years without the aid of a three point line and ticky tack calls.

Well in fairness last year the women had over 10 millions viewers for the title game .

Thats not a small amount .
The men only did 12 million last season

I would not say nobody watches it

And so far in my life nobody has ever forced me to watch a womens college basketball game in my entire life .

Women play great fundamental basketball. Men play exciting basketball. Take your pick.

When they start playing with a regulation basketball, I'll pay attention. Meanwhile, in a first round game one team is favored by 53 and you can bet that at least one first round game will have the winner double the score of the loser. Sounds more like high school to me although high schools play with the regulation ball. Might also be less of a joke if players weren't on the court with false eyelashes.

The only women's professional sport that really stands on it's own is tennis. When Martina and Chrissy played it was a really high level of competition. Those matches drew just as much interest as the mens. Actually more so back then. I have no interest in watching women's basketball.

The men’s tournament is on CBS, TBS, TNT and Tru. Not sure how the women’s tournament on ESPN is interfering with the men’s. 2 separate tournaments broadcast on completely different networks.

you guys just want to complain about everything.

Compared to men the women aren't very good. True.

But we've got several guys and gals who post on this board from South Carolina.

I'm rooting for the Lady Gamecocks to finish their season undefeated. That's always an extra special season when a team can completely dominate the competition! It doesn't happen very often in any sport!

And like Charlie just said. Nobody is making you watch. What are you complaining about?

S Carolina might be able to make it with no losses as a good YMCA men's team was not on the schedule.
The women's game is so eager to compete with the men that they refuse to schedule their tournament on days when the men are not playing. They have to play the first two rounds on team's home courts because no one would show up at a neutral site.

I don’t watch the women play, they just overall don’t come close to the men. But that doesn’t mean some of them aren’t very good athletes. I remember years ago going to watch Stephanie White, who went to Purdue, play a high school game against one of our local high school teams. I was impressed just watching her warm up. At one point in the game, she got a rebound and after just 2 dribbles, she threw a full court pass with her left hand off the dribble to a teammate for a layup. After the game a friend of mine who knew the boys coach was talking to him and the coach said, “She can play on my team any day”.

Tara VanDerveer passed Mike Krzyzewski for career college basketball wins. Can anyone else?

NCAA pulls a ref at halftime of the NCST/Chattanoga game as it was revealed she had a graduate degree from Chattanoga. Probably too many women in leadership roles for the tournament.
