Should Roger Goodell Step down/Be fired?

It would be good news for us that want legal sports betting nation wide. He's the only commish of the big 4 that's anti-legalization.

He makes like 40 a year doesn't he?

I'd never step down. You would have to fire my ass and even then I might go out like Tony Montana in the final scene of Scarface.

No. He's made more money for the NFL than anyone else. If the owners wanted him fired, he'd be gone.

What does he actually do? The TV deals have been set up. The sponsors have been in place; some prob. for decades. Your job is too suspend players I guess? I said in another thread; seems like he has 5 decisions to make a year and goes 0-5. But you know he watched the SB in the cold. Guess that is his claim to fame.

What is it; as long as 24 of 32 like him, he is good?

I guess majority would rule. If that many owners wanted him gone they'd be talking. For fans to think they have any say
who the commish should/shouldn't be be is laughable.

At the end of the day, without the consumers the NFL is worthless.

I could careless who the commish is though. I suppose it would be good to replace Goodell, but it isn't something I'd spend more than 20 seconds a year thinking about it.

The consumers for the most part don't give a fuck who it is. Just a few select crybabies who's team or player gets punished. They are as clueless as the day is long

It doesn't bother me who he punishes or not, I just know that as long as he's commish sports betting is a no go. The quicker he goes the better.

how can he keep his job? how can he be trusted?

he mishandled the Brady case, making it much larger than it ever should have been and he manipulated evidence

he committed perjury in the Rice case when he said Rice never told him he punched his fiancee in the face (evidently, Roger was the only person in the country that didn't know this before the video was released)

and the courts bitch slapped him a third time in the Peterson matter

how could he ever be trusted by anybody? he's an incompetent buffoon that embarrasses the NFL every day he holds his position

seems like some people want to believe something happened even if the weight of the evidence doesn't support that conclusion and a federal judge concluded the commissioner once again was found to be living outside the law
