Should I Stay Away from UCLA?

I'm really tempted to pull the trigger on UCLA but I'm not seeing many on here playing this game. Is it because it's a late game and nobody has posted it yet? Seems to me UCLA wins big. VCU is from a terrible conference and UCLA played great most of the year. Thoughts?

I like UCLA. They don't get any respect because they're in the Pac-10, but they're a much better team than VCU. That's not meant to be a knock against VCU, moreso that people don't realize how good the Bruins are. I think VCU keeps it close for a while, but UCLA pulls away late.

If I played the game VCU would be the play. Howland is stubborn and he will put COllison on Maynor and Maynor is a big guard and big guards usually eat Collison up. So I think VCU keeps it close.
But then again, I'm only batting .500 today so what do I know, I am a UCLA alum for what it's worth so i think the fact that I'm not picking them should show for something

i liked vcu initially but i haven't seen one pick on ucla on the 4 forums i frequent & must have seen 15-20 vcu picks. not to mention the public is above 50% on the dog which is usually a bad sign, every announcer that picked an upset is on them & brandon lang has them too. i'm seriously thinking of taking ucla even though i'll be rooting for vcu.

Everyone picking VCU as an upset, yet the line is so high.

UCLA isnt great, but they are better than that duke team a few years back.

I think UCLA wins but im not laying 7 points.

i think under in the game is where i'm going too. read something somewhere today that said pac 10 favorites of 7+ in the tourney are 9-1 under the past 3 or 4 years.

You shouldn't stay away from UCLA. They have one of the best defensive coaches in the game. Shipp is ready to play. UCLA will cover this number...

vcu has only lost 1 game by more than 7 points and that was an 11 point loss to oklahoma on the road. playing just a 2 hour drive from campus and getting 8 points against an offensively inept ucla squad? it should be a no brainer to take vcu. that being said, the book wants you to take no brainers so im going with ucla.
