I put a decent chunk on the Red Wings series, you think I should hedge my bet to be on the safe side?:think2:

Not unless you hate money. Detroit has completely outplayed Pitt much like last year and this is with 2 very good players still out of the lineup but due back. Seriously doubt Pitt could win 4 of the next 5. Stand Pat.

detroit is the better team and has outplayed pitt by a little (not a lot)
and has 2 key players sidelined. that being said, i would hedge part of
my bet. pittsburgh is weaker defensively than the wings, but not
by so much that they do not have a chance to win the series.
osgood has outplayed theury and i do not believe that is likely
to continue. a few years ago the sharks won the first 2 games
at home against edmonton in dominating fashion and were winning game
3 when chechoo hit the crossbar with the sharks in the lead
midway through the 3rd game. that would of been the finisher.
instead edmonton gains momentum and wins the series 4-2.
if pittsburgh gets a break and gains some confidence, they
are close enough in talent to win this series. i watched all of the
ducks/wings series and believe me they were life and death to
get by anaheim. the wings ARE NOT a lock to win this series, although
i do expect them to.
