Two suspects are dead after a dramatic police shootout on a residential street in San Bernardino this evening as police hunted the masked gunmen suspected of opening fire at a conference center. Pictured: the second suspect is seen lying facedown down on the street
Farook, an environmental specialist with the county health department, has been described as a 'devout' Muslim and is said to have traveled to Saudi Arabia earlier this year and returned with a wife.
Co-worker Patrick Baccari says Farook was gone for about a month in the spring. When he returned, word got around Farook had been married, and the woman he described as a pharmacist joined him shortly afterward. A baby followed.

Officials told the LA Times that a .223-caliber DPMS Model A15 rifle and a Smith and Wesson M&P15 rifle were both recovered from the scene. They also found a handgun made by Llama and a Smith and Wesson handgun.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms said they traced the guns and found that two of them were bought legally, though it did not specify which guns and who purchased them.
It came as a police source speaking to Fox News said the killer duo used 'military tactics' to confront police. They reportedly had body-mounted cameras, which would have allowed them to record the massacre.

Idiot, if these sick gun nuts, and all the others, couldn't get guns so easily, maybe no one would have been killed. But keep the status quo because it's working so well.

Because ANYONE that arms themselves to the teeth, and shoots up 30+ people, and gets in a gun fight with police is a gun nut. No matter the motive. I agree the whole thing is insane. That's the point. And I also agree that LE did a marvelous job. And will continue to do so as they unravel the motives. This thing was planned out for weeks, maybe months, as soon as this Party was planned. Guy was waiting for an opportunity to kill lots of people he knew.
Gun nut is a snarl word referring to a person (often, but not always, male and Republican, and usually in the United States, though they exist elsewhere) who not only believes in the right to keep and bear arms, but makes a point of doing so with gusto.

If that's the cause, I'll be glad to talk about it, as I have many times before. Something must be done to track down and close down these Internet sites and other Avenues that the Extreme Radical Islamists use to radicalize nut cases that are open to it. At this point, this is a targeted attack on people he knew and wanted to kill. We will find out why.
