Shocker: NFL Ratings Tank
"The NFL saw a reduction in most key apples-to-apples comparisons."

It's no wonder then that the NFL ratings have dropped ever since the 49ers' backup quarterback Colin Kaepernick decided to protest the national anthem in the name of Black Lives Matter.
From NBC Sports:
Unfortunately, some athletes haven't gotten the memo that their fans really don't like it when being spit upon by millionaires who play with balls for a living (no innuendo intended). According to Victor Oladipo of the Oklahoma City Thunder, now NBA players may protest the anthem as well.

From NBC Sports:
With the dust settled on Week One, the NFL saw a reduction in most key apples-to-apples comparisons from 2015 to 2016.
Via Forbes, the Thursday night opener between the Panthers and Broncosdrew 25.2 million, down eight percent from 2015 (Steelers-Patriots) and six percent from 2014 (Packers-Seahawks).
Also, Sunday night’s game between the Patriots and Cardinals generated an audience of 23.1 million. Despite the game being decided at the last second, the audience fell by 14 percent, in comparison to last year’s Giants-Cowboys Sunday night opener.
The expression "Duh!" comes to mind with this sort of revelation, considering the average football viewers are middle-Americans of all colors who resent Colin Kaepernick's accusation that this country oppresses people of color.Via Forbes, the Thursday night opener between the Panthers and Broncosdrew 25.2 million, down eight percent from 2015 (Steelers-Patriots) and six percent from 2014 (Packers-Seahawks).
