I agree I thought Shaw made a bad decision not going for 4th and 1 foot. I also thought North Dakota State's coach made a mistake going for 2 against Iowa when his team was DOMINATING Iowa in the trenches. But they both worked out. Maybe these coaches are smarter then we are giving them credit for.

You guys are wrong.

Lots of time left, low scoring game, defensive battle.

They got a stop and drove for the TD, just like the "idiot" coache thought would happen.

Some of you might want to look at this guy's resume. Its pretty good. If Shaw is an idiot, then there are about 100 coaches that should be labeled retarded.

Well Said!! This guy is a class act and a GREAT coach. There is a reason that he's coveted by both NFL and any college looking for a HC (other than Bama, Ohio St, Mich, and a few others). Turns down jobs every offseason.

I think Shaw is a very good coach. He trusted his defense to get them the ball back and they got Burns a chance to win it in final minute. Really big confidence boost for the entire team. The matchup this coming week vs UW and Peterson should be really good.
