if I have to go early, give me the shark! I told my wife that many years ago.

My surf buddy and I do have a pact that we will swim towards the other one if we ever get attacked when surfing....people usually die from bleeding out and the sharks usually bite and leave so getting to someone who has been attacked quickly is paramount.

It is so rare that it isn't worth the energy, but I'd be lying if i didnt say sharks cross my mind at least once whenever I am surfing alone and/or as it is getting dark
