Hello Pete Jr..
I have not fully handicapped this game as of yet but to give you a brief overview I think the way to go in this contest is with the Miami -6.5 or leave the game alone in my humble opinion.
Yes the Niners have been playing well of late in winning 3 or their last 4 outings including last weeks huge win over the Jets, however, please keep in mind that two of the Niners wins came over St Louis and Buffalo who have a combined record of 8-18 straight up and the other win was over a Jets team that had to fly coast to coast and was fresh off a demoralizing home loss to Denver.
Miami on the other hand is currently in a 3 way tie for the divisional lead in the AFC East and have themselves been hot lately with wins in 3 of their last 4 contests, oddly enough Miami's wins were not that spectacular either as they came against Oakland, St Louis, and Buffalo who have combined records of 11-28 straight up.
The real "fly in the ointment" for the Niners in this affair is the fact that they are on the road AGAIN for the 3rd time in 4 weeks and on the road AGAIN for the 4th time in the past six weeks and that includes having already made a cross country trip to Buffalo just two weeks ago...AND..RB Frank Gore is listed as questionable, if Gore doesn't play these Niners don't stand a chance in my humble opinion.
Add to the mixing pot that this is Miami's final home game of the year as they close out the regular season at KC and at the Jets, the Phins realize that need to win at least two of these remaining three games if they want to win the division.
I think the motivational edge is clearly on Miami's side, couple that with the Niners being a little "Road weary" and I can honestly see Miami winning this contest by double digits.
Take care and be well my friend
Jim
