I'm loving sf getting 6.5 here. I think they have a decent shot at winning this outright. I'm thinking it will be a pretty close game regardless. Please advise why i shouldn't take sf for a good chunk of change? I'm also liking the saints plus 3. thanks in advance

Ask yourself this question.

Who has a legit shot at the playoffs this year? 49ers? Dolphins? :think2:

That's a rhetorical question. Dolphins win, but probably won't cover. I see a low scoring game, so the UNDER might be worth a shot as well.

Buy it up to +7 (buy hook -120), and this may be a WINNER!

Good luck! :toast:

Hello Pete Jr..

I have not fully handicapped this game as of yet but to give you a brief overview I think the way to go in this contest is with the Miami -6.5 or leave the game alone in my humble opinion.

Yes the Niners have been playing well of late in winning 3 or their last 4 outings including last weeks huge win over the Jets, however, please keep in mind that two of the Niners wins came over St Louis and Buffalo who have a combined record of 8-18 straight up and the other win was over a Jets team that had to fly coast to coast and was fresh off a demoralizing home loss to Denver.

Miami on the other hand is currently in a 3 way tie for the divisional lead in the AFC East and have themselves been hot lately with wins in 3 of their last 4 contests, oddly enough Miami's wins were not that spectacular either as they came against Oakland, St Louis, and Buffalo who have combined records of 11-28 straight up.

The real "fly in the ointment" for the Niners in this affair is the fact that they are on the road AGAIN for the 3rd time in 4 weeks and on the road AGAIN for the 4th time in the past six weeks and that includes having already made a cross country trip to Buffalo just two weeks ago...AND..RB Frank Gore is listed as questionable, if Gore doesn't play these Niners don't stand a chance in my humble opinion.

Add to the mixing pot that this is Miami's final home game of the year as they close out the regular season at KC and at the Jets, the Phins realize that need to win at least two of these remaining three games if they want to win the division.

I think the motivational edge is clearly on Miami's side, couple that with the Niners being a little "Road weary" and I can honestly see Miami winning this contest by double digits.

Take care and be well my friend

Jim

Thanks for the help guys. I greatly appreciate it. I knew miami was in a 3 way tie but I'm guessing a low scoring game.

Hello Pete Jr..

With regard to the posted O/U on this contest which is currently 42, I would personally lean to the OVER myself. The reason centers around the fact that these Niners have allowed 29 or more points in 5 of their 6 roads games thus far this year, meanwhile, Miami has scored 21 or more points offensively in three of their last 4 home games.

As mentioned in my earlier posting these Niners will enter this contest a "Road weary" bunch as they will be on the road AGAIN for the 4th time in a 6 week span and also as mentioned they have given up a TON of road points which translates into a very tired Niner defense.

Trend-wise the Niners are 4-0 to the OVER this year and have gone OVER in 15 of their last 22 outings when the posted total is between 35.5 and 42. In my humble opinion this contest shapes up as an excellent 6 point teaser play with the Phins -1/2 point and OVER 36.

Take care, be well and good luck to you my friend

Jim

I'm guessing it will go up a little bit and when i call on thurs to get the lines im guessing i might here 46 or something. I know alot of people bet with the greek.com. is that correct? how does it work ? I know my credit card company prohibits gambling websites. Whats the best to get around that?

Agreed. Wait till Gore is available. If so, 6.5 is a lot for Miami
SF has already beat Buffalo, and the Jets.

Miami is first in the NFL in take away give away +12
SF is dead last in the NFL in take away give away -14

Pennington doesn't turn it over a lot, Mike Martz offenses do. Teams that lose the turnover battle lose at a pretty convincing rate.

Historically, NE Pats always does well vs Oakland Raiders either home or away. In "the Black hole" Raiders is 1-5 ATS. Meanwhile, Pats is three way tie in its div., Pats can not afford an L if Miami going to lose to Jets in their final game at Meadowland which mean tie breaker going to NYJ. Pats will have to play a shoot out game this week to make sure they can hold on to the final minute because the lack of their defense. I believe that half of Pats defense guys are down and they just plugged in two new"ex guy" in a hurry. You can see it last week that the lowly Seahawk could almost ran over them. This week Oakland will do the same thing, they can score a season high vs Patriots, but as I just said, Pats will shoot shoot shoot to make sure they can win. Beside that Randy Moss will show up to his old friends. Final score: NE 45-27

Usually they split 2-2 when they play AFC, they already lost to NE early in the season. Like Miami a lot this week.:103631605

I am responding to Pete Jr because he wants a play which team can cover and he likes action on the Over (i guess, just like most bettors like to bet Over line so watching game can be more exciting). So my offer is on NE/Oak game that could be easier than Mia/SF.Misunderstood me.:103631605
