he`s under the premise of just fade depaul.

SHall laying points on the road is a frightening proposition.
They are young and inexperienced.

Actually, Seton Hall is a very nice 6-3 ATS and 3-3 as a road Fav. DePaul is horrid and has only covered 2 games as a DOG (2-11 overall as a Dog)

Both teams are about the same experience wise. "Hall" roster has 1.65 yrs. of experience and DePaul has 1.66......

The line has moved to -1 at the Greek, so I took a small shot. It's very hard to put any money on DePaul at this point. They have lost 11 straight, although to some pretty tough matchups. They're dead last in all meaningful categories offensively and defensively in the Big East.

Obviously, this isn't going to be a "classic" "made for TV" matchup, but everything I can find points to the Hall winning this one.

Leaning towards depaul......I think the majority of the public will be on the hall.

This is Depaul's chance at a win and they are really going to want this game.

You always play to win the game.....some just do more then others. You would know this if you played sports.

And you know damn well if a team is getting beat up and straight up embarrassed and you have a great shot to get a win at home you come out firing.

Of course this can backfire and a team can completely give up.

This was my opinion, if you don't like it play the other side. BOL in whatever you decide

i'll chime in from someone whose been watching illinois basketball for a long time now.

fade depaul regardless of their winless conference record, regardless of home field. they are a private institute that gets illini and northwestern rejects.

UIC or illinois chicago is also a team i fade on a regular basis. Some high schools in chicago can beat them, and i'm not kidding. UIC is the college all the kids goto after they have recieved their rejection letters from illini, northwestern, depaul, loyola etc etc. its at the bottom of the list just above all the community colleges.

i've been doing well fading them but never go against the illini.

edit: oh and depaul's home field is a joke. They dont have their own arena or building. They play in the allstate arena which is a good hour or two away from their campus. It's a venue that is used for all events and purposes. To me, that arena gives off a neutral feeling than anything.

all valid points.....but I would be curious to see how you have done fading this Depaul team at all costs.

If I remember correctly they have hung with some top teams in years past in the Big East

With pleasure.

I jumped on
pitt -16 vs depaul at home. WINNER
Marquette -10 vs depaul at home. WINNER
Rutgers -3.5 vs depaul. WINNER
UConn -14 vs depaul at home. WINNER

these are the last 4 games I believe, and I didnt think twice about cashing in.

Tough opponents, yes, and seton hall is one of them.

Seton hall has covered against VT, Villanova, GT, UConn, ND, and Rutgers twice all this year.

I am not saying that Depaul can't or won't win. I have always hated when people use this reasoning.

This is not pro sports where 1 team is out of the playoffs and another is playing for their season, so you know one side is mailing it in.

SHU and DU are both going to the BE tourney and need to win it to go dancing.

Why does Depaul all of a sudden give a damn, they didn't care when USF came to town?

I mean tell me because you think SHU is terrible away from home or because the Hall doesn't play D, but because they want it more. Did Wainwright all of a sudden decide we will wait until half way past the Big East season to get a W in confernce play.

BOL on Depaul

I must be as square as they come as well. Seton Hall has so much more to play for and are hot.

We shall see
