The Rx.com Mod Team has created this Service Play sub-forum in order to supply an area for Rx Service Play Posters to expand upon their posting topics without creating a logjam in the main forum where the three principle threads are maintained..

Please remember, this forum is not here for regular posters who cap their own games to post ther daily plays. Please use our individual sport forums to post your plays. Professional cappers (those that sell plays) must remain in the Site Promotion Forum.

The Rx.com will not tolerate posters that post false records of any services they track. Please be truthful if you decide to track a particular service.

Lastly The Rx Moderators are appealing to you our everyday posters to report any promotional threads or posts that are made by services or individual touts. No links or contact information to an individual service will be allowed. Just the name of the service. Please report any threads or posts that are promotional attempts by services and touts to use this forum to promote themselves..

Thank you, The RX

Pick 'n' roll: Tuesday's Best NBA Bets

Cleveland Cavaliers at Miami Heat (-13, 196.5)

The Cleveland Cavaliers thought they might have Daniel Gibson back on the floor for Tuesday’s game against Miami, but it looks as though he’ll be out a while longer.

Gibson practiced Monday, but did not travel with the team to Miami. He will miss his fifth straight game with a neck infection and the Cavs could have used him.

Starting shooting guard Anthony Parker has been ruled out of his fourth straight game with a back issues and rookie power forward Tristan Thompson will also sit with a sprained ankle.

But even with the injuries, the Cavs have covered the number in three of the last four – twice against Boston, while giving the Mavericks a scare in a 91-88 loss on Saturday.

Cleveland has also had a great recent history against the Heat. The Cavs have covered the number in eight of the last 10 meetings against Miami, which is just 2-7 against the spread in its last nine games overall.

We like Cleveland to hang around again.

Pick: Cavaliers

Charlotte Bobcats at Boston Celtics (-14, 177)

After the Boston Celtics dropped eight of their first 12 games, some people were wondering if the club would be able to keep up in this condensed schedule with an aging roster.

Paul Pierce didn’t see it that way.

"I think a lot of it has to do with us getting healthy," Pierce told reporters. "We were just a rusty group at the beginning of the year. ... We probably used those first eight to 10 games as a tune up, but I think now we've finally flipped the switch where we're playing more consistent ball."

Especially on defense. The Celtics are giving up just 81.2 points per game over their last nine, helping them to eight outright wins while covering the number six times.

With this much chalk on the home team, we feel more comfortable with the under.

College funds: Tuesday's Best NCAAB Bets

Alabama Crimson Tide at Auburn Tigers (5.5, 119.5)

Alabama hits the road for the first time in two weeks to face in-state rival Auburn for the first time this season, but will be without forward Tony Mitchell, who was suspended indefinitely by coach Anthony Grant for conduct detrimental to the team.

Mitchell averages 13.1 points and seven assists per game.

Both teams prefer playing a half-court style of offense and would rather play a low-scoring game; Alabama averages only 66.4 points and Auburn averages 64.6 points.

Alabama, which has won two straight games including a double-overtime win over Ole Miss, has the edge on defense and allows only 58.3 points. But Auburn, losers of three of its last four, has been especially tough at home with a 12-1 record, losing only to No. 1 Kentucky.

Alabama leads the all-time series 87-56, but Auburn has won six of the last 10.

The Tigers are also riding a 7-1 run against the spread.

Pick: Tigers

Iowa State Cyclones at Oklahoma State Cowboys (-1.5, 140)

Just three days after picking up an impressive road victory at Oklahoma, Iowa State will attempt to make it two straight in the “Sooner State” on a trip to Oklahoma State.

The Cyclones, winners of three in a row, are the best surprise story in the Big 12 through the first half of the conference slate. At 7-3, they’re two games up on fifth-place Kansas State and trail co-leaders Baylor, Missouri and Kansas by only a game.

The Cowboys, normally one of the best home teams in the league, have already dropped two Big 12 games at Gallagher-Iba Arena so far, including a 64-60 setback against Baylor on Saturday.

The Cyclones’ 77-70 win at Oklahoma was their first in Norman since 1996, and now they’ll try to follow that up with their first win in Stillwater since 1988. It’s a 16-game losing streak at Oklahoma State, but this year’s Iowa State team is all about breaking the mold.

Pick: Cyclones

Ice picks: Tuesday's Best NHL Bets

Vancouver Canucks at Nashville Predators (-120, 5.5)

Something has to give when two of the Western Conference’s hottest teams collide Tuesday.

The Canucks have nine points in their last five games and are the conference’s best road team at 17-9-1. Defenseman Kevin Bieksa played a big role in their 3-2 shootout win over Colorado on Saturday.

After coughing up a puck that ended up in the Vancouver goal earlier in the game, he made a diving save to prevent an empty net goal late in regulation and then scored the tying marker with 34.1 seconds remaining in the third.

That doesn't mean he was satisfied with the effort.

"We're giving up a few chances, but we're just not quite there in our zone right now," Bieksa told the team's official website. "We're not sharp enough, we're trying to place a little bit more of an effort on that and coming out from there. We were a little bit better (Saturday), but obviously we can be better."

The Preds have won six of their last seven, but the Canucks are rounding into form.

Pick: Canucks

St. Louis Blues at Ottawa Senators (+110, 5)

At this point, the Ottawa Senators are just hoping that they finally reached rock-bottom with Saturday’s embarrassing 5-0 loss to rival Toronto.

That defeat triggered alarm bells as it was the club’s sixth straight loss, dropping the Sens to seventh place in the Eastern Conference ahead of Monday’s action. However, the team is trying to stay calm

“You’ve got to look at the whole picture,” Jason Spezza told reporters Saturday. “Our last two weeks have been really bad and we’ve lost games that we shouldn’t have lost and we’ve blown some leads that we shouldn’t have blown.

“You have to look at the season as a whole. We’re happy to be in this position and now we’ve got some important games down the stretch. We’ve put ourselves in a position to play some important games.”

St. Louis is struggling a bit too with just one win in its last four, while scoring just nine goals in its last 11 games.

Expect a tight-checking game as both teams try to grind their way out of their respective slumps.
