But not quite yet ???

Not Own him yet no, Billy G needs to get all his own players here first. Tubby Smith really left the cupboard empty when he left, he just quit recruiting hard. I loved Tubby as a person and a good coach but it just seemed like he quit going after top recruits. It was really frustrating losing out on all the top guys while we played slow Tubby ball. He is in the perfect spot for him at Minnesota right now and I wish him success there.

they said that record consist of mostly moneyline parlays which is still a good record though

Nothing is documented. They might as well say they are all +600 ML winners as far as I'm concerned. It's highly suspect when touts post insane records, but have no proof to back up their claims.

Very cool thats my assess from a far. One, I think BG should have never left the freindly confines of Tex, but money talks. And I (from a distance) cant see the KENTY fans have long term patience to build thatthing. I think maybe he;s got 2 yrs. Poor Tubby, great coach, but never was totally accepted--the south thing and all. Well see---Im on Bruce and the boys here shortly. GL.

True. I've asked people on here if they could vouch for their record, but I think everyone just started following them within the last few weeks.

cdr---word to wise long term. NO serice is good enough to just follwo blind. They all fizzle out at some point. Check the service thread, its one thing to ride a hot hand, but be smart and understand the dynamics of the game youre playing. It aint that easy as to just find a service.

If it was, no one would be here.

Tubby was worshiped his first 4 years here, no race thing at all. You would have to be a fan that keeps up with recruiting to understand how poorly he started recruiting. He would take commits from 2 stars all day and Kentucky is better than that.

We're used to competing for Titles every year. More SEC titles than the rest of the SEC combined and with Florida and Tenn getting better and Tubby's lack of recruiting, it all fell apart.

Tubby was a great coach but he forgot he had to get the best players when it came to signing them. We had several terrible recruiting classes right together and that is what ended the tubby era.

We only have 2 scoring threats on the team right now in Meeks and Patterson. If they get contained then we are in trouble until we can find a 3rd scorer.
