The Washington Nationals continue their series with the Baltimore Orioles today at Camden Yards. The Orioles took the first game of the series with a 5-3 victory. Starting for the Nationals is Odalis Perez who is 1-3 on the season with an ERA of 3.71. Taking the mound for the Orioles is Brian Burres with a current record of 3-4 and an ERA of 3.67. Both teams will be facing left-handed starters with Washington at 8-10 on the season against lefties and Baltimore at an even 4-4. Washington has a hard time scoring runs as they average only 3.98 runs a game. This is due largely to the fact that they are the worst in the league in hitting averging a mere 7.7 hits per game.
