The Rx.com Mod Team has created this Service Play sub-forum in order to supply an area for Rx Service Play Posters to expand upon their posting topics without creating a logjam in the main forum where the three principle threads are maintained..

Please remember, this forum is not here for regular posters who cap their own games to post ther daily plays. Please use our individual sport forums to post your plays. Professional cappers (those that sell plays) must remain in the Site Promotion Forum.

The Rx.com will not tolerate posters that post false records of any services they track. Please be truthful if you decide to track a particular service.

Lastly The Rx Moderators are appealing to you our everyday posters to report any promotional threads or posts that are made by services or individual touts. No links or contact information to an individual service will be allowed. Just the name of the service. Please report any threads or posts that are promotional attempts by services and touts to use this forum to promote themselves..

Thank you, The RX

Pick 'n' roll: Saturday's Best NBA Bets

Denver Nuggets at Indiana Pacers (-3, 200)

Denver isn’t guarding anyone these days. The Nuggets have lost five straight, the latest a 109-101 home loss to Golden State in which the Warriors shot 51.9 percent overall and made 13 of 25 3-pointers.

The “D” was so non-existent that during the game, a fan tweeted: “Enver Nuggets!”

Indiana ranked ninth in 3-point shooting (37.1 percent) entering Friday’s visit to Memphis.

The last three times Indiana faced Denver, the teams combined for at least 228 points. The over is 6-2 in the last eight Pacers-Nuggets games, and 7-2 in Denver’s last nine road games.

Pick: Over

Phoenix Suns at Sacramento Kings (-2.5, 196.5)

The Kings surprised the Thunder on Thursday thanks to clutch shooting from Marcus Thornton, who buried back-to-back 3-pointers with less than three minutes left.

"Players have the ability to lock into a moment, to be in a zone, to make a shot that has to go down,” coach Ketih Smart said of Thornton, who began 3 of 12 but made 3 of his last 4 shots. “And he has the ability to do that."

Sacramento has won four of five. In three of those wins, the Kings trailed by at least seven points in the second half. Sacramento is a young team that feeds off its home crowd.

Phoenix went the final six minutes of Thursday’s home loss to Houston with one field goal, by Steve Nash. The Suns were destroyed on the boards, and five Rockets reserves scored in double figures.

The Kings are 7-0 ATS in their last seven games.

Pick: Kings

DePaul Blue Demons at Notre Dame Fighting Irish (-14, 138.5)

Notre Dame has won five straight while allowing 51.6 points per game. The Irish will slow down the Blue Demons, who like to push the pace.

Ever since they lost senior forward Tim Abromaitis to a season-ending injury, the Irish have become an even more deliberate team.

In Big East play, they rank last in scoring (60.7) and first in points allowed (57.6).

The under is 9-1 in Notre Dame’s last 10 home games, and 16-5 in Notre Dame’s last 21 games overall.

Pick: Under

Miami Hurricanes at Florida State Seminoles (-6, 131)

No. 17 Florida State, coming off a surprising loss at Boston College, welcomes the hottest team in the ACC to Tallahassee.

Miami has won five straight conference games thanks to a balanced attack. Four players – Durand Scott, Malcolm Grant, Kenny Kadji and Reggie Johnson -- average at least 12 points.

The Hurricanes, under new coach Jim Larranaga, can score inside with Kadji and Johnson or outside. They drain an average of 7.4 3-pointers per game, third most in the ACC.

FSU allowed B.C. to shoot 45 percent from beyond the arc in the 64-60 loss. The Seminoles are usually stout defensively, holding opponents to 37.4 percent shooting. FSU ranks in the top 10 nationally in forcing turnovers, blocks, and field goal percentage allowed.

But it wouldn’t be wise to get in the ‘Canes' way right now.

In addition, the road team is 9-3-3 ATS in the last 15 Miami-FSU games.

Pick: Hurricanes

Ice picks: Saturday's Best NHL Bets

Los Angeles Kings at New York Islanders (105, 5)

Even after Thursday’s 4-2 home loss to Montreal, the last-place Islanders are 6-2-2 in their last 10 games and 11-6-2 in their past 19.

L.A., meanwhile, continues to struggle offensively. The Kings have scored one or zero goals six times in their last 10 games. They have scored an NHL-low 119 goals.

"It's more of the same for us," Dustin Brown said after Thursday’s 3-1 loss at Florida. "We've got to find ways to score more goals."

Coach Darryl Sutter pulled goalie Jonathan Quick after two periods but did not offer a specific reason why.

"No big deal, just something different," Sutter said.

The Kings are 1-3 on this six-game road trip, and 1-4 in their last five games playing on one day’s rest.

Pick: Islanders

Columbus Blue Jackets at Minnesota Wild (-160, 5)

Woeful Columbus lost defenseman Marc Methot to a broken jaw in Thursday’s loss to Dallas. Interim coach Todd Richards says defensemen James Wisniewski and Nikita Nikitin won’t return from their injuries until next week.

The Blue Jackets prevailed 3-1 when these teams met Tuesday in Columbus, but the previous four meetings all produced at least six goals.

The Wild just got back captain Mikko Koivu, who is second on the team with 33 points. He returned to the lineup Thursday after missing eight games with an injured left shoulder.

The over is 7-0 in the Wild’s last seven home games.

Pick: Over

Saturday's Betting Tips

Who’s hot

NCAAB: Louisville is 8-2 ATS in its last 10 road games.

NCAAB: La Salle is 9-1-1 ATS in its last 11 home games.

NBA: The road team is 10-3-1 in the last 14 Clippers-Bobcats games.

NBA: Philly is 6-2 ATS in its last eight games playing on zero days’ rest.

NHL: The Kings are 6-1 in their last seven meetings with the Islanders.

NHL: The under is 6-0-1 in Winnipeg’s last seven road games.

Who’s not

NCAAB: Oklahoma is 3-9 ATS in its last 12 conference games.

NCAAB: Rhode Island is 3-7-1 ATS in its last 11 conference games.

NBA: The Nets are 1-9 ATS in their last 10 home games vs. San Antonio.

NBA: The over is 2-6 in the last eight Suns-Kings games.

NHL: Montreal is 2-11 in its last 13 games playing on one day’s rest.

NHL: Chicago has lost its last eight road games.

Key stat

8 – That’s how many shots Syracuse center Fab Melo has blocked in two games since returning from an academic suspension. He also has 25 points and 10 rebounds. In the Orange’s overtime win over Georgetown on Wednesday, Melo affected several shots by the Hoyas. The second-ranked Orange host UConn at 1 p.m. ET Saturday.

Injury that shouldn’t be overlooked

Tennessee freshman forward Jarnell Stokes (sprained wrist) is questionable for Saturday’s game at No. 7 Florida. The 6-8 freshman is a key inside player for the Vols. He averages 8.9 points and 7.9 rebounds. Stokes suffered the injury in practice on Tuesday and missed Wednesday’s game against South Carolina.

Games of the day

No. 6 Baylor Bears at No. 4 Missouri Tigers (-6, 147.5)

No. 12 Michigan State at No. 3 Ohio State (-9, 128)

Notable quotable

"It has nothing to do with the city of Milwaukee or anything like that because that's where I started my career. They've been nothing but good to me. (Coach) Scott Skiles and (general manager) John Hammond have been good to me. It's just that I'm understanding the business of basketball now.'' – Bucks leading scorer Brandon Jennings, who says he’s “doing his homework on big-market teams” for when his rookie contract ends.

Notes and tips

No. 12 Michigan State has dropped three straight conference road games, averaging 14.7 turnovers in those losses. The Spartans must take care of the ball Saturday at No. 3 Ohio State, as the Buckeyes rank No. 2 in the Big Ten in turnover margin.

Arkansas senior forward Michael Sanchez (sprained shoulder) is doubtful for Saturday’s home game against South Carolina, leaving the Razorbacks with three healthy scholarship big men. Two of those are freshmen. Arkansas was outrebounded 44-21 in a blowout loss at Georgia on Wednesday.

Oklahoma State might be wise to let Kansas guard Elijah Johnson shoot 3-pointers when the Cowboys visit the No. 10 Jayhawks on Saturday. Johnson went 0 for 4 from beyond the arc Wednesday against Baylor, dropping him to 28.2 percent this season. Johnson has taken a team-high 131 3-pointers.

The Texas Rangers have locked up slugging outfielder Nelson Cruz for two more years at $16 million, plus $500,000 in incentives. Cruz, 31, hit .263 with 29 homers and 87 RBIs last season. He won ALCS MVP honors after putting up six homers and 13 RBIs in the Rangers’ 4-2 series win over Detriot.
