Perfect Play--Iowa + Big 10 Game of the Month
Wisconsin should be drained after playing close games and losing by a total of 14 points to Michigan and Ohio St. Drained because both were losses. Drained because the OSU game was so close and the loss was in OT. It may be hard to dust yourself off and travel to Iowa City and lay points. Both defenses are exceptional but Wisconsin's QB Alex Hornibrook's inexperience and TO's could be the difference in a very low scoring affair. Iowa is at home, and owns one of the most balanced offenses in the country. This is a game that Iowa can will outright to regain the Heartland Trophy.

Inner Circle--Auburn- Double Digit Favorite Blowout of Season
With defenses in the minds in the SEC for the Vegas Oddsmakers, it is rare to have a good SEC team favored over another good SEC team by double digits just to give away free cash. It just doesn't make sense. Auburn is still alive for the SEC title while Arkansas is officially out of the race. The Auburn Tigers come into the game on a three-game winning streak putting a renewed focus on the run game and trusting their better-than-average defense. Auburn’s defense is allowing just 16 points per game, showing a true bend-but-don’t-break mentality. Starting running back Kerryon Johnson and Kamryn Pettway have been a deadly duo with Johnson rushing for 538 yards on 105 carries with six scores and Pettway rushing 91 times for 505 yards with four touchdowns. The change in roles has players and fans all in agreement. Auburn has looked like a different team with offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee calling the plays, not head coach Gus Malzahn. It has also opened up extra passing lanes for their QB. Arkansas’ season statistics against the run are not very good, allowing 175 rushing yards per contest. Auburn has three advantages: 1) playing at home and 2) coming off a bye 3) more scoring opportunities now. QB White’s been brilliant for the passing game over the last five games, hitting well over 70% of his passes in four of his last five outings with six touchdowns and a pick. Auburn might want to run, but White’s making teams pay for loading up to stop the ground attack. The oddsmakers did their job as 75% of the public doesn't think like the Vegas Oddsmakers.

Texas Tech + Big 12 Game of the Year
The opening line was -11 and has moved to -14 with Oklahoma laying two touchdowns to home team Texas Tech. The Red Raiders will be ready to "leave everything on the field ". OU's QB Baker Mayfield decided to transfer when he said the Texas Tech coaching staff did not guarantee him playing time in the Holiday Bowl or a scholarship for the following season. He eventually walked on at Oklahoma, lobbing some verbal jabs at Texas Tech and Red Raiders coach Kliff Kingsbury along the way. That locker room material is what drives coaches crazy and for a reason. The contest is a key one for Texas Tech, which plays just two of its final six games at home and needs three wins to become bowl eligible. Oklahoma, which will be trying for its first 4-0 start in Big 12 play since 2004, will be without starting running back Samaje Perine who is expected to be sidelined two to three weeks with a hamstring injury. Perine is adept as a blocker in the backfield. His absence will put more carries in the hands of Joe Mixon and more burden on freshman runner Abdul Adams to contribute. Texas Tech last beat Oklahoma in 2011 when the Sooners were ranked # 1. The likelihood of a shootout does raise the possibility of a wild finish with Tech covering the point spread. Techs QB Patrick Mahomes is arguably the best quarterback in the Big 12. He leads the nation in passing yards with 429.8 per game and is No. 5 in passing touchdowns with 21. Oklahoma’s secondary could have its hands full Saturday night. Five Red Raiders have caught more than 20 passes this season and six have hauled in multiple touchdowns. It won’t be a blowout. The Red Raiders can certainly score themselves. Expect the Red Raider offense to approach 450 yards of offense Saturday night -- win or lose.
