Roy Oswalt may have the name in this pitching matchup, but Jair Jurrgens is the name to come in the National League. Jurrgens is plowing through lineups with a 1.72 ERA so far this season. He will get to show that great stuff against the weakest lineup in the major leagues, as the Astros punch 'n Judy lineup is scoring a major league worst 3.5 runs a game, which becomes an even more pathetic 2.9 on the road. Roy Oswalt hasn't exactly solved this Atlanta lineup, where he has yet to win in his career and features a 6.41 ERA against them. Doesn't look like a mismatch by name, but it is by results, and I'll go with Atlanta here.

The White Sox are 0-4 behind Jose Contreras but he has not pitched that poorly and his most recent start was by far his best. Texas starter Brandon McCarthy has been consistently hit hard and walks and home runs have been a big problem. McCarthy has allowed 12 walks in four starts and six home runs while allowing at least three runs in every outing despite averaging less than six innings per start. The Texas bullpen has been again a disaster with a 6.06 ERA so McCarthy will not be bailed out while Chicago again features what should be one of the best relief units in the AL.

The White Sox are 6-4 in road games this season and currently are the leaders in the AL Central. Most of the big offensive production for Texas has come against left-handed pitching as the Rangers are hitting just .244 against right-handers. With Josh Hamilton and Jarrod Saltalamacchia both injured the Ranger lineup also lacks considerable punch. Chicago is hitting .288 in road games against right-handers and the White Sox have won the last three meetings between these teams.

There have been a lot of bad beats in this series if you had the under.But under is the right way to look for this Game 7. These teams are completely spent. The Bulls are jump-shooters. So are the Celtics without Kevin Garnett.But the fatigue factor has caused tired legs. This is going to be reflected by a lot of missed outside shots. Frustrated, the teams are going to get patient and protect the ball.Yet because this is a Game 7, the defensive intensity will be there.I see the under bettors finally cashing.

First thing first, this line is -6, not the -4 listed in the screen, just so there is clarity. As for this game, look back to Game Seven of the first round last year when the Celtics beat another band of young guns (the Hawks) by a 99-65 score in Game Seven, and that sets the scene pretty well for this one. Yes, four of the first six games have gone into overtime, but that sets up line value for the home team here, as the line is smaller than it has been at any time for Boston at home in this series. Lay the smaller than it should be number here.
