No consolation but I was all over Ariz. and the under yesterday until Lyons blew up. The amazing thing is he almost blew saturdays game giving up 2 in the ninth to those same Dodgers but escaped with a 3-2 win..No don't learn throw em right back in on sunday. Amazing how do these managers keep their jobs.
Exactly, how many runs do your closer have to give up before you pull him out? Its like do your job and manage! You know your closer is shaky and almost blew it the night before and is on the verge of blowing another game, so why wouldn't you take him out? That is so stupid! Instead of being up $2k, I lost $2.5k. These games just drive you nuts! I've seen it so many times this year where closers blow large leads and managers just leave them in the game until they blow the game and then take them out...is that good managing or what. From now on, i'm never gonna lay a lot on a team with a shaky closer
