Not much brains here as we talk about this match up between the Angels and Mariners. First thing first, this Angels squad has momentum right now. Momentum in baseball is HUGE, coming off two 1 run games puts this team at a small fav to open the line. Bottom line is this, Angels own this team head to head 24-11 last 35 meetings, also Santanas 6-0 in his last starts against the M's. Though the M's want to end their problems now its not going to be too easy considering Washburn is 0-5 in his last 5 starts as an underdog, 3-13 following a team loss! On the upside the Angels are nailing game one of a new series the last 6 including Santanas going 4-1 when he pitches Gm 1. 4-0 in last 4 as road fav and 5-1 when their opp comes off a high scoring game. Bottom line is the Angels own this club and everything is pointing toward this ball club to pull away big tonight.
