Carolina has owned New York in the preseason. The Panthers have won five of the six all-time meetings between the teams. The Panthers are 11-8 straight up and 13-4 against the spread record against NFL opponents. The Panthers are 6-2 in week one, and an impressive 8-2 as a dog in preseason. The Giants are 15-23-1 as favorites in preseason play since 1990.
Eli Manning, Brandon Jacobs, and the rest of the first-string is expected in a limited capacity tonight. Backups David Carr, Andre' Woodson and rookie Rhett Bomar are expected to play.

I have the Twins as 1-12 SU since 2004 season as a dog after a loss in which their starter pitched less than 3 innings. I also have the Rangers as 24-8 SU since 2004 at home vs a team that has lost at least their last two games and it is the first game of a series.
